We took Jaxton in for his 1st post op appt today and the Dr said that it looks GREAT! Woo Hoo, We are very glad to hear that! (especially since he has fallen a little on it 3 times....oops and OUCH!) Jaxton has been dying to see the incisions since he woke up in recovery and I think its not quite what he expected. He started hyperventilating, lost all color and just plain freaked out! I found it quite funny but Dr Mailing was pretty quick covering it back up and then Jaxton was fine, He said it was gross. Anyway, things are good, we go back next Tuesday to get the stitches out and probably at that pint get him into a walking boot. He will still be non-weight bearing until September 1st.
